Changes at the top

HIE has confirmed a number of new senior appointments this month.

Charlotte Wright has been appointed as the organisation’s new chief executive. Charlotte had been interim chief executive since last August. Previous to that she was director of business and sector development.

HIE’s new finance and corporate services director is Nick Kenton. Nick joins HIE on 4 July from NHS Highland. He takes over from Forbes Duthie who retired in April after 15 years with HIE.

Audrey Maciver started in her new role on 1 June as director of energy and low carbon. She has lead responsibility for HIE’s contribution to the growth in the energy and low carbon sector, covering oil and gas (including decommissioning) , renewables and the low carbon economy.
