EXCITEMENT GROWS AS XPONORTH APPROACHES

Scotland's leading creative industries festival takes place in Inverness on 27 and 28 June with a line-up of performing artists and industry speakers.

Funded by HIE and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), XpoNorth is free to attend.

There will be live performances from Annie Booth, Beta Waves, Tamzene, Zoe Graham and many more. Each act is in with a chance to play at the XpoNorth Seedlings stage at Belladrum Tartan Heart festival in August.

XpoNorth will also include thought-provoking and high-impact sessions exploring multidisciplinary themes in today’s creative climate.

Speakers include Jen Topping (Media Commissioner & Consultant, Channel D/Xbox), Aton Ben-Horin, (Global Vice President of A&R, Warner Music Group) plus Sara Kozak (Senior Vice President, Production, Investigation Discovery and AHC at Discovery Inc).

HIE’s head of creative industries, Iain Hamilton, said:

“XpoNorth is one of the most exciting and inspiring events of its kind. It is an excellent platform to showcase great new acts from all genres and from far and near, and to stimulate industry networking through seminar sessions with industry leaders.

“We are thrilled with the quality and diversity of this year’s line-up and are delighted to be presenting such a fantastic range of talent and expertise.”
