Moray Business Week 2018

Cybersecurity, using drones and understanding responsibilities under GDPR are just some of the workshop topics in this year’s Moray Business Week from 5 to 9 November.

There will also be sessions on tax efficiency, and the benefits of paying employees a living wage.

The week begins with a celebration of business achievements in Moray with the Chamber of Commerce Awards Lunch at the Mosset Tavern, Forres. It will conclude with the Moray Tourism Conference at the Eight Acres Hotel, Elgin.

Events are being run throughout the week to support new and existing businesses. Most are free to attend but should be booked in advance. Details can be found on Eventbrite, and on the Moray Business Week Facebook Page.

HIE is one of many partners in Moray Business Week. Donna Chisholm, HIE area manager in Moray, said:

“If you have business interests in Moray, there will be something for you during Moray Business Week. We would encourage all businesses to check out the programme and book ahead for sessions they’re interested in. We look forward to another successful week of networking, sharing and learning.”

Partner organisations involved in Moray Business Week are: Business Gateway; Moray Chamber of Commerce; HIE; Embrace Elgin (BID); Developing the Young Workforce (DYW); Moray College UHI; Moray Economic Partnership; Skills Development Scotland; Federation of Small Businesses; Moray Speyside Tourism and Moray Council.
