Vital Spark video

The HIE funded Vital Spark programme is featured in a new video showing how it helps local people turn their ideas into social enterprises that make a positive, lasting change.

Vital Spark is a dynamic initiative based in Argyll and the Islands and delivered by Scotland’s social enterprise agency Firstport in partnership with Inspiralba and UnLtd.

It is supported with funding from HIE and CalMac. It aims to build enterprising local cultures where emerging social entrepreneurs can flourish while generating skills and revenue that support themselves and their communities.

Vital Spark has more than 20 early stage social enterprises, many trading from their own premises, employing staff and delivering social impact to help improve their local communities.
